From international rugby stadiums to collegiate rowing regattas, my work takes me around the world to photograph sport at its highest level. Every assignment brings a different environment and a different set of demands, and the equipment I rely on is an essential part of the work.

I'm an international sports photographer with more than a decade behind the camera at elite sporting events. Since 2023 I've been an official photographer for World Rugby's HSBC SVNS series, and my work also covers Rugby World Cups, Olympic events and the biggest regattas in collegiate rowing.
Most of my working life happens pitchside, on the riverbank or in transit: long days, a lot of equipment, and whatever the weather brings.

International Rugby
Official photography for the HSBC SVNS series, plus Rugby World Cups and international competition. Tournament days start early and finish late, often across several continents in a single season.
Collegiate Rowing
From the Head of the Charles to Henley Royal Regatta and the major US championships, working from the bank or a launch on the water, in sun, wind and rain.
Life on Assignment
Pre-dawn starts, long flights and cases of camera equipment moving between countries. Most of the job happens before the first whistle and after the last race.
